Adnan Chaudry is the former chief officer of the Dorset Race Equality Council, an organisation promoting good race relations in Dorset, he retired in 2017.
He previously worked in local government for over 20 years after leaving university in the field of diversity and equality policy development. This included helping to implement key equality legislation including the Disability Discrimination Act 1995, Race Relations Amendment Act 2000 and the Age Regulations 2006.
Adnan also has experience of working in the third/voluntary sector. He has been a volunteer Adult Literacy tutor since university days and has also worked as a volunteer with a number of Race Equality Councils’ over the years.
