Who We Are
Bournemouth 2026 Trust was transformed from a highly successful Local Strategic Partnership into a Community Development Trust and Community Land Trust in 2012. Our purpose is to improve the lives of people living and working in Bournemouth, particularly the most vulnerable and deprived and those not achieving their full potential. The intent is to improve the overall quality of life in the area.
Through our status as both a Charitable Development Trust and Community Land Trust (CLT), we facilitate sustainable strategic change in Bournemouth, focusing on our current key priorities:
o Boscombe regeneration
o West Howe regeneration
o Services for Young People
Who You Are
You are a driven individual who has expertise and enthusiasm to offer in at least one of the following areas:
· Property development
· Legal issues for charities
· Understanding of the challenges and issues facing the Voluntary and Community sector
· Financial expertise
· Start-up and growing creative digital business
You will have the time and interest to meet at least 6 times a year and be an active member of the Board. You are available for contact outside meetings and events by telephone or e-mail.
What We Are Looking For
Bournemouth 2026 Trust is recruiting for 2 or 3 Trustees to join their dynamic board. We are looking for talented and motivated people who sympathise with the aims of the organisation and who can give commitment and time to help us grow. We need people who have strategic vision and strong leadership skills who will be willing to represent the organisation as appropriate.
